How can we actually internalize beauty and life, embedded in a system of man/Anthropos normative approach?

 

Undersee is a video collage exploration, a symbol of my unconscious towards my anxiety.

I use the juxtaposition of videos as a visual internalization of the narrative, which in contrast with the visual expressions, and together with the original context of the image, it function as unified imagery, creating a new meaning in the confusion initially suggested. I merge all this found imagery in condensed metaphors associated with my conscious awakening towards anxiety.

The merpeople are archetypal. They can dive deep in the dark waters (unconscious), able to connect with the hidden humanity past (traumas), and bring up the surface (conscious), here as a guide towards my fragile mental state.

I expose in Undersee an anthropomorphic mercurial internalization of self-discovery, dunking in the emotional pain of unavoidable self-destruction. To demonstrate, I chose to create undersee reflected in the social body construct, which hopes to maintain the status quo.

 

The culmination is the hanged man where I abuse the archetypal symbology of this tarot card, is a moment of transition, it is asked for consideration before action.
